Nokia 6 knocked at the gate of smart phone market, witnessing the back of Nokia. And now, Nokia is taking its way to the leading place. Previously in July 19, Nokia's Chinese website came out with a promotional image for the yet-unannounced flagship even before HMB puts out an official statement. Though it was regraded as the mistake by the webmaster, it seems more of commercial hype.

HMD Global has confirmed a press event for August 16th. It's official stated its flagship Android-powered handset - Nokia 8 - will be revealed, kicking off the rush of high-end mobile launches.

So far, we don't know the actual price at which Nokia 8 will be set, but new rumors leaking out tend to prove that the price is not that friendly as we expected. Nokia 8 is rumored to be set at a price of around 600 EUR. Whether it's worthy of the price, you can find out through its specifications.

Design

As we can tell from the leaked image, Nokia 8 has a slim metal shell with curvy edges. A dual-lens camera is on the back of the smartphone. The design is neither obsolete nor advanced. Expect for the back, it looks just like Nokia 6 in front.

The Nokia 8 is rumored to have a 5.3-inch QHD touchscreen with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset at the helm. Its dual rear cameras will be Zeiss branded, each having 13 MP resolution. There will be two models coming out with respectively 4 or 6GB of RAM and 64G or 128G of storage.
