It is reportedly that the founder of OnePlus Carl Pei predicts that OnePlus 3 is planned to release at the end of the second season. Although there is no more confidential information unleased, Carl Pei claimed that the brand-new designed would be adopted. This indicates that OnePlus 3 will be strikingly different from OnePlus 2.
In the interview, Carl Pei said that although OnePlus 2 was more salable than OnePlus 1, more users were interested in the first generation. As a result, sales of the new product would be expected to surpass, as least, equal to the first generation. Accordingly, the public predicts that OnePlus 3 may not be available until June 2016. Plus, the appearance of this model would be redesigned.
Snapdragon 820 Chipset
Before that, it was rumored that OnePlus would come with Snapdragon 820 as well as a display with 1080p resolution. But the size of the display is unknown until now. Besides, netizen said that OnePlus would apply metal body and specially designed back cover like OnePlus X. Other configurations would be similar those of Xiaomi 5, including a 5.2-inch touchscreen, fingerprint support, pre-installed Hydrogen OS based on Android 6.0, fast-charging support as well as NFC.
