Sony unveiled three flagships - Sony Xperia X Performance, Xperia X and Xperia XA in MWC 2016. First of all, Xperia X responds quickly. When the device is asleep, you can press the shutter button and activate the camera and shoot a picture in 0.6 seconds. It is a piece of good news for parents and pet owners as they don't want to miss some spontaneous photo opportunities of their babies or the puppies.
Besides, the camera features Sony's latest predictive autofocus tech, which allows the phone camera to track the subject's movements. What's more, it can predict the future behavior accurately so as to keep them sharp and won't waste any time on refocusing.
Furthermore, the phone comes with a 13-megapixel selfie camera and an f/2.0 six element lens. The phone is able to shot sharp low-light shots which is more natural due to the large sensor. And the ISO 3200 camera has been replaced by the ISO 6400 one.
How is the Performance of Xperia X Camera?
I looked back through many photos. And I notice that incredible details were picked up in the shot. When I zoom in a photo of a street on my computer, I can read the license plate of a car which is a few hundred feed away. It is quite clear and detailed.
When it comes to the predictive focus, it works well. You are required to tap the screen and focus on the subject. Then the screen will places a box around the subject and tracks it. Although sometimes the subject like a car moves quickly, the camera can keep tracking it.
The only issue occurs when snap object 30cm or less from the camera. Actually, you will need to stand further back.
Are You Satisfied with Selfie Camera of X Series?
Compared to the camera of Galaxy S7, Huawei P9 and so on, the 13-megapixel front-facing snapper is stronger. Then soft skin effect feature occurs by default, so in the normal light, shots appear with soft and blemish-free skin.
